The development of the colloidal battery itself is improved on the basis of the liquid-rich battery. Because it is the use of silicon gel fixed sulfuric acid electrolyte, the gas transmission inside the colloidal battery is completed through the channel formed by the crack of the gel cracking, the amount of electrolyte does not affect the gas transmission channel, so the amount of electrolyte is not strictly limited, usually the use of liquid-rich design to ensure that the battery has better performance.
The colloidal lead-acid battery uses gel-like electrolyte, and there is no free liquid inside. Under the same volume, the electrolyte capacity is large, the heat capacity is large, and the heat dissipation ability is strong, which can prevent the general battery from easily appearing thermal runaway phenomenon. The electrolyte concentration is low, and the corrosion of the plate is weak. The concentration is uniform and there is no delamination of electrolyte. The discharge curve of the colloidal battery is flat and straight, the inflection point is high, its energy and power are more than 20% larger than that of the conventional lead-acid battery, the life is generally about twice as long as the conventional lead-acid battery, the high temperature and low temperature characteristics are much better, and it is a sealed structure, electrohydraulic gel, no leakage; Charge and discharge without acid fog, no pollution.
